Since it’s founding, in the Spring 2001 by Ronald Morebello, the Kensington Concert Series (KCS) has been sharing outstanding quality musical performances with this unique community and the greater San Diego area. These concerts occur within local Kensington homes, many of which were built in the 1920's. The series includes local artists, in addition to many other accomplished musicians from around the world. All of the net proceeds are contributed to the "Friends of the Kensington/Normal Heights Library."

The Kensington Concert Series is a California Unincorporated Nonprofit Association (Reg. No. 15549) that presents 4-6 small scale acoustic concerts a year in the homes of willing residents of the Kensington neighborhood located in the city of San Diego. Net proceeds from the concerts go the the Friends of the Kensington/Normal Heights Library.

Starting in 2017 KCS will be handed over to Gary and Zoraida Payne. The Payne's have hosted many house concerts, and are involved in the local arts and music community in many ways.

The Kensington Concert Series is sponsored in part by Tristani Real Estate Group.
